Following news were recorded with start of the winter timetable:

Air Berlin started up to six daily flights to Hamburg.

British Airways
employs more frequently its newly acquired EMJ 170s on its London LCY services

Condor
launched flights to Bahrain, Nassau and St. Lucia

Continental Airlines lauched daily flights to Houston with B767-200

Delta Air Lines stopped all Cincinatti flights. New York JFK is now served with B767-300 again.

Oman Air flies 4times weekly nonstop to Mascat with A330.

Pegasus Airlines launched daily flights to Istanbul SAW

Saudi Arabian wants to employ its new A320 on FRA services

stopped its Antwerp flights
 

Mid-Summer News
18th July 2009

Following news were recorded until the mid of July:

Air Baltic daily to Riga starting 17th September with B737-500

China Airlines comes with A340-300 instead of B747-400

Condor
operates first B767-300s with winglets. Efective from the winter timetable the airline newly serves Nassau and St. Lucia

LAN Cargo
operates several times weekly with its brand-new B777-200F

Safi Airways started 3 weekly (1-3-5--) Kabul flights in the mid of June

Somon Air should start two weekly (--3--6-) flights to Duschanbe by the end of July

Cargo: Due to the crisis a few airlines cancelled (several) flights to/from Frankfurt
 

Summer timetable news *update*
15th March 2009

Effective March 2009 these will be news in FRA's timetable:

Due to the current downturn in passenger numbers many airlines will reduce frequency and/or capacity out of FRA.

Air Dolomiti: The airline now mainly operates ERJ 195 out of FRA

Air Seychelles: The airline returns to FRA with a weekly B767-300 flight to Mahé

All Nippon Airways: Starting in fall, all flights will be operated with B777-300

Gulf Air increases its frequency again to 11 weekly flights

Pakistan International resumes flights to FRA: Twice weekly with A310-300

VLM starts 3 daily Fokker 50 flights to Antwerp. It'll use the Air France Lyon-Slots, as the French carrier drops the FRA-LYS route.

Air Canada: The Montreal flight is mostly operated with B777-200LR

Air India
: All flights are planned to be operated with B777-300

Gulf Air: Additional 2 weekly evening deprtures to Bahrain on mondays and fridays

TAM: All flights are planned to be operated with B777-300
