Restaurants and toilets in short distance. You have a good overview of most operations. As the terrace is facing the sun, especially suited to take registrations.

1) A5 Exit "Zeppelinheim / Cargo City Süd" > Westlich der Exit parken. Zu Fuß den Fußweg am Luftbrückendenkmal entlang > Spotting spoten ab der Fußgängerbücke nach Zeppelinheim nordwärts > unter beide Anflüge durch
2) Parken am Terminal 2 > Zu Fuß auf Straßenniveau > An der Ampel ostwärts in Direction LSG > Gegenüber des Tors über die Strasse und dem Fußweg entlang der Autobahn folgen

2) Parken am Terminal 2 > Zu Fuß auf Straßenniveau > An der Ampel ostwärts in Direction LSG > Gegenüber des Tors über die Strasse und dem Fußweg entlang der Autobahn folgen > unter beide Anflüge durch
Advantages:

Alle Anflüge von Osten sind hier einfach zu erwischen. Außerdem kann der Rollverkehr zwischen Nord- und Südseite des Flughafens teilweise abgelichtet werden.

Advantages:

Alle Anflüge von Westen sind hier einfach zu erwischen. Ab 13:00 Uhr (MESZ) kann man auch die Starts auf der Runway 18 fotografieren.

Von hier aus kann man die Flugzeuge sehen, die am Terminal 1 B Ost und C stehen. Ausserdem kann man landende, rollende und startende Flugzeuge kurz sehen. Fotos sind eingeschränkt durch Glas möglich.

Von hier aus hat man einen schönen Überblick über das ganze Geschehen am Frankfurter Flughafen. Fotos sind eingeschränkt durch Glas möglich. Bei Sonnenschein besteht das Problem des Gegenlichts.
Diese Position ist innerhalb des Sicherheitsbereichs und nur mit einer Bordkarte zu erreichen!
