easyJet new services to London

easyJet, Europe's fourth largest airline, starts its new services between Londn Luton and Vienna today. Boeing 737-700 can be seen daily to different times between 14:25 and 16:30.


 
Austrian Airlines add winglets to its Boeing 767-300

As the first European airline Austrian Airlines will add winglets to its Boeing 767-300 within the next months.


 
The end of Austrian Airlines' A340-300
12 May 2007
On 29th April Austrian Airlines operates its last official flight with an Airbus A340-300. Both airliners will be sold to "Star Alliance"- partner Swiss within the next months. It is also the end of Austrian Airlines only special colour scheme, the "Wiener Philharmoniker".
OE-LAK lost his Austrian Airlines- colours last week and came back in white colours from Manila on 11th May.


 
Air Transat: Wien - Montreal
11 May 2007
Air Transat inaugurates its new flights from Vienna to Montreal. Airbus A310 connects the two cities once weekly (each Friday), in June 2007 a second weekly flight each Monday follows.


 
4th Boeing 777-200 reaches Vienna
31 January 2007
The fourth Triple Seven of the Austrian Airlines Group, OE-LPD, reaches Vienna. The aircraft will complement the airlines future long-haul fleet with its sisterships OE-LPA till OE-LPC (ex Lauda Air).

SkyEurope opens base at Vienna

SkyEurope opens a new base at Vienna Airport on 30th March 2007. The slovak airline will operate 16 routes including Paris ORY, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Athens, Venice etc. For more informations visit www.skyeurope.com .


 

Vienna - Atlanta starts in May 2007

After a break of seven years Delta Airlines will start a new service between Atlanta and Austrians capital Vienna operating Boeing 767's five times a week. According to Delta Airlines the airline will provide daily services with the beginning of 2008.
