Winter time is spotting time at Salzburg Airport. Many spotters come to Salzburg to enrich their collection. To ensure a successful stay we kindly request you to obey the follwing remarks released by the Salzburg Airport authority:

Salzburg, 4th December 2006

Dear Sirs and Madams
dear aviation enthusiasts,

welcome to Salzburg Airport – W.A. Mozart. It’s a pleasure for us to provide you again an interesting timetable.

To maintain a good environment between airport, local inhabitants and aviation enthusiasts we please you to pay attention to the following remarks:

1. Dispose your litter in the provided litter boxes in the terminal area only.
2.
Don’t harm the airport perimeter fence
3.
Obey the non smoking policy on the rooftop terrace
4.
Entrances to houses and properties must be kept free at any time. Do not park your car on private properties.
5.
Crash gates and entrances to the airport area must be kept free at any time to give way to airport and/or emergency personel.
6.
Due to the small number of available parking slots at the popular spotter positions round the airport, please consider to create car pools with your fellows. Many positions can be reached easily by means of public transport.

The Salzburg based aviation enthusiasts of planes-international.com have announced their full cooperation with the management of Salzburg Airport and will inform the airport and/or police whenever it’s needed to maintain the good environment between airport, aviation enthusiasts and local inhabitants.

Ramp admissions won’t be given without any exception.

Salzburg Airport and the aviation enthusiasts of planes-international.com wish you a pleasant and successful stay at Salzburg Airport.
