Getting to Salzburg Airport

by plane:
Salzburg Airport can be reached directly from many European regions. Especially helpful for your journey is the growing number of low cost connections to Salzburg. You can fly to Salzburg with low cost airlines year round from London (STN / LGW), Dublin, Manchester, Coventry, Barcelona, Palma d. Mallorca (Air Berlin - Hub), Brussels - Charleroi, Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover and Cologne. There are also many additional seasonal low cost services during winter from cities like Doncaster, Birmingham, Bournemouth or Southampton. by train:
Salzburg is located on a railway crossroads: Frequent daily train services exist to Dortmund, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Budapest. There are hourly train services in direction Vienna, Villach, Graz, Innsbruck and Munich. All trains stop at Salzburg's main station which is connected with the airport by bus No 2.
