Stairway to the terrace in the terminal > Use staircase to the 1st floor > Stairway to the terrace next to Panorama Market Place Restaurant on 1st floor > Follow staircase up > Turn left in fornt of the glass door > Exit on the terrace   
Advantages:

Restaurant and toilet facilities in short range. Good overview over all events going on at Salzburg Airport. Specially good for registration takers

Entrance: At terminal 2 direction right; follow the building and the adjacent hangar; follow the perimeter fence on the foot path 
Advantages:

Sole position, which can be reached easily from the terminal

Motorway exit "salzburg Flughafen" > Follow signs to the airport > After traffic lights 1st crossing to the right into Loiger Strasse > At the end of street to the right > next possibility turn left (near gardening) into Hermann Gmainer Strasse > about 500m later, turn left into "am Eichetwald" > Follow street until the end (opposite grave yard) > turn left into Laschenskystrasse and follow the street > At the right hand turn of the main road at a road junction drive straight ahead into "Mehrlgutweg" > Follow the street along the perimeter fence until the tennis court
Don't park on the street. Please park your car along the hard shoulder or in the parking spaces! Exits of houses and properties must be free at all times!

Landing and departing aircrafts can be photographed with the castle "Hohensalzburg" in the background

... > At 2nd crossing turn right into Otto von Lilienthal street > Follow street unitl its end > Parking next to the recycling containers (> For touchdown shots head along the fence to the south)

Advantages:

Nearly all the traffic can be seen and photographed; Action shots with castle and/or mountain "Gaisberg" possible
