04 May 2007:   Robin Hood Aviation: start up on 29th May 2007
Robin Hood Aviation will start its flights Graz - Zurich - Graz on 29th May 2007. Monday to Friday a Saab 340B will connect the cities twice a day.

22 April 2007:   Robin Hood: new airline at Graz Airport
According two local newspapers Robin Hood, a new styrian airline, will start flights to destinations in Switzerland (maybe Zurich) and Germany. Aircraft should be two Saab 340. The airline will not operate in the low-cost.-segment, but it will provide a new booking system (maybe via mobile phones).
 
 
  
08 March 2007:   Ryanair reduces flights to STN
Ryanair reduces its flights to London Stansted (STN) beginning on 7th June 2007. Boeing 737-800 will only connect Graz with London on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Its another big stroke against Graz Airport after the bankruptcy of Styrian Spirit one year ago and the end of several flights to European destinations.
 
 
  
25 February 2007:   Lufthansa offers more Munich flights
With 02th May 2007 Lufthansa provides a new daily service between Munich and Graz. Its partner Augsburg Airways will use Dash 8Q. Departure Munich: 07:50, arrival Graz: 08:50, departure Graz: 09:20, arrival Munich: 10:20.
 
 
  
23 February 2007:   Clevair to start-up?
It is possible that Clevair will start-up operations soon. On the one hand a Saab 340 (it is possible, that it was OE-GIR,ex Fairline) was seen on Graz Airport and on the other hand Rheinair wants to operate its Graz-Zurich- connections with this aircraft type. If "Clevair" will operate this flights is not clear at this time.
 
 
  
16 January 2007:   TUIfly.com comes to Graz
TUIfly.com will open flights between Cologne/Bonn and Graz on 25th March 2007. Boeing 737's will operate the flights X3 3140 and X3 3141 five times a week. For further informations and bookings please use this link: www.tuifly.com
 
 
  
03 December 2006:   New scheduled services
After Intersky operated its first flight between Graz and Berlin, the airline will add another flights to offer six weekly flights between this cities beginning in April 2007. Rheinair, which planned its inaugural flight between Graz and Zurich on 6th November and never operated, want to establish three weekly flights with bigger Saab 340. At this moment there aren't more exact informations.
 
 
 
13 November 2006:   With Niki to Majorca
Austrian's low- fare- airline Niki will start scheduled flights to Palma de Majorca next May. The airline will use its Airbus A320 on Wednesdays and its A321 on Saturdays:
 

 
 

13 September 2006:   Intersky to Berlin-Tempelhof starting at the end of October
Intersky will start flights between Graz and Berlin four times a week. Dash 8Q-300's will fly Friedrichshafen- Graz- Berlin Tempelhof- Graz- Friedrichshafen, so on operation days arrival and departure times at Graz will change. New flights Graz- Berlin can be booked through www.intersky.biz.
 
 
 
31 July 2006:   New scheduled service Graz- Zurich
On 6th November 2006 Rheinair will start a new weekly service between Graz and Zurich with an Beech B90C. The flights should be used by business travellers.
 
 
 
20 June 2006:   Last Swiss- flight Graz- Zurich
After the last flight of Swiss from graz to Zurich, Graz Airport lost another important destination. Due to the bankruptcy of Styrian Spirit in March all flights to Berlin, Stuttgart and Paris were cancelled- only Zurich had been served in period from April to June.
 
 
 
19 May 2006:   Swiss engages Graz- Zurich
The swiss national carrier notifies to engage all flights between Graz and Zurich. At this time the airline connects the two cities up to three times the day.
 
 
 
31 March 2006:   Swiss flies Graz- Zurich also in April, May and June
Swiss will operate the flights between Graz and Zurich also in April, May and June. In the end of march Swiss overtakes the routes Graz- Zurich from Styrian Spirit.
 
 

 
27 March 2006:   Lufthansa will operate Graz- Stuttgart
Only a few days after Styrian Spirit ended its operations Lufthansa overtakes the flights between Graz and Stuttgart. Operations will begin on 3th April with ATR-42.
 
 
 
25 March 2006:   Swiss operates flights of Styrian Spirit
Until end of March 2006 Swiss will operate flights Graz- Zurich and Zurich- Krakow with ERJ-145, which were former operated by code- share partner Styrian Spirit.
 
 
 
24 March 2006:   Styrian Spirit stopped services on 24th March
Styrians homecarrier Styrian Spirit had to stop its services on 24th March after recapitalization by the Grazer Stadtwerke failed. This means that flights from Graz to Stuttgart, Zurich, Paris (via Salzburg), Berlin and some out of Salzburg and Klagenfurt are cancelled.
 
 
 
14 March 2006:   Germanwings checks route Köln/Bonn - Graz
Following Styria's daily newspaper "Kleine Zeitung" the German low- cost- carrier Germanwings checks a new route between Cologne/Bonn and Graz. There aren't informations about the days of operations yet.
 
 
 
10 March 2006:   Airport traffic- results 2005
In 2005 Graz Airport was able to increase the volume of cargo by 15% up to 10.000 tons. In contrast the numbers of handeld passangers in 2005 decreased by -0,5%, although there were some new flight routes established:
